So many of you have figured it out already that I am kind of super keen about trench coat and just recently got my first ever Burberry trench coat. After sharing couple of pictures I thought about making a review to share my opinions about it, to know if the trench from Burberry is really worth of it compared to other brands.
In regards to Burberry, I love a good cashmere or wool trench, but I will be honest and say that you should get a runway line wool/cashmere if possible. I love the brand, but non-heritage/non-runway coats are not always up to snuff even when they charge 2-3,000 dollars for a cashmere coat. A breakdown of all of Burberry’s heritage trench coats, below. Burberry Heritage Trench Coats. The Modern-Day Classic: Burberry Heritage Kensington trench coat, ,590; The Tried and True . Burberry creates 3 different regular-length, mid-length, and long trench coat silhouettes – the Chelsea trench coat, the Kensington trench coat, and the Westminster trench coat. It’s important to familiarize yourself with the 3 styles and what length you prefer if you’re considering purchasing this investment piece!

Its the classic trench (Trench 19) with a removable wool warmer lining. For suits/jackets I'm a 38 or 39 in most brands, but since the classic trenchcoat is quite roomy I had to size down to a 36. Fits well. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any discounts on Burberry trench coats in my area, neither the department store nor at the stand alone Burberry store. I have also heard of Bicester Village, have never been there.
