I don't have a photo, but I've tried a 39mm Explorer on my 6.5" flat wrist. It was too big. I have had several 36mm watches, including Rolex, and they were perfect. I have a 6'5" wrist and agree less than 40mm is the sweet spot. The BB58 fits very well and is 39mm (I think). 34mm - 40mm seems about right depending on the style.
They are both fantastic, but considering that my wrist size is just under 7", if I could only keep one, I'd keep the 36mm 14270. Great glossy dial, perfect layout, feels super . I have owned a neo vintage 14270 Explorer as well as the 39mm (which I felt was larger than the original design and lacked the “style” of the 36mm), and finally my current .K+K+
